Built to withstand all the various climates from the harsh heat in the South to the cold weather of the North: Bat houses are built from NH rough cut 1 inch pine, not 1/2 inch cedar as others are built.

Air and water tight: All joints are shipped lapped and caulked with a caulked adhesive for water and air tightness. No worrying about joints pulling apart and joints forming air or water leaks

20 year roof shingles: We use 20 year roof shingles no replacing wooden roofs after a few years. All shingles are colored for your zone, helps keep the bat house dry and maintains heat control.

No bulky Chamber Spacers: Chambers are held in with 1/2 inch dado's and not bulky spacers for a cleaner look. This also allows for more roosting space.

2" Deck screw Fasteners: We use deck screws for long lasting and will not rust or leave rust streaks. Deck screws allow for nice strong joints, unlike nails that pull apart after years of exposure to the weather.

1/2 inch thick chamber walls: Each chamber wall is 1/2" rough cut pine boards, the rough cut allows bats to attach them self to the walls of the bat house. On industrial bat houses the inside chamber walls are 1/2" exterior plywood with netting attach to allow bat to attach to the wall. This eliminate bowing of the inside chamber wall and add extra strength.

Large Landing area: Our standard landing extends 6 inches below entrance to allow bats a larger area for landing and take offs. We also use a 3/4 inch exterior plywood for a sturdy landing base.

Netting for bats to attach too: We use approved netting for easy bat landing and takeoffs. This netting allow bats a sure footing to attach themselves in both landing and take offs. This netting will also not harm the bats while attaching themselves.

Ready to mount: We apply 2 coats of exterior stain for long lasting and colored for the zone you live in. There is no need to travel to your local paint store or to worry about what color you need to paint your bat house. Also all of our bat houses come ready to hang with pre-drilled holes and hardware included!!

Comes with Mounting Instruction and placement guide. All bat houses come with mounting instructions and guide for easy bat house placement.

Climate control: Bat house are ventilated for each zone, vents help maintain and regulate climate within the bat house. Zones 2, 3 and 4 come vented.
